一、课程介绍(含教学目标、教学要求等)300字以内)

本课程的教学目标是通过课堂教学与文献阅读使“信息与通信工程”“学科低年级博士与硕士研究生拓展现代移动通信系统所涉及领域的基础理论与专业知识,熟悉第三代蜂窝移动通信系统国际标准的无线空中接口技术与系统网络架构规范,建立移动通信系统概念,了解第四代移动通信系统标准化工作进展以及相关领域的技术研究热点,以对研究生后期开展课题研究工作起到帮助作用。

本课程的先修课程包括通信原理,移动通信,计算机网络与排队论等。本课程要求选课学生参加至少26学时的课堂教学和专题讲座报告,同时完成不少于12学时的专题英文文献阅读与研究论文撰写。课程考核工作为硕士研究生提交专题研究报告,博士研究生进行专题讲座并提交文档。

四、主讲教师简介:

王向阳,副研究员,男,19716月生。1996年于东南大学无线电工程系获得硕士学位,2003年于香港大学电机与电子工程系获得博士学位。1996年至2000年期间于东南大学移动通信国家重点实验室从事IS-95CDMA2000移动通信系统的研发工作,承担本科生“移动通信“课程教学。2003年至今于本实验室从事B3G/4G移动通信系统相关课题的研发工作. 个人研究兴趣为扩频通信,蜂窝移动通信系统,MIMO技术在OFDM系统中应用,无线局域网等。

张源,讲师,男,19776月生。2004年于东南大学无线电工程系获博士学位,2005年起加入东南大学移动通信国家重点实验室。主要从事B3G/4G移动通信系统研发与标准化等工作,个人研究兴趣为现代无线网络体系结构、协议以及算法的设计、分析与实现等。

  1. Course Introduction (including teaching goals and requirements) within 300 words:


The teaching goals of the course is to spread the field fundamental theory and professional knowledge for the fresh doctoral and master graduate students major in Information and Communications Engineering through the lectures, reference reading and seminars. The international standard of air interface technology and system network infrastructure in the third generation cellular mobile communication system will be discussed and structure concept of practical mobile communications system will be built. The fourth generation mobile communication system standardization progress and related frontier research topics are introduced. The course is expected to be helpful for further study of graduate students.

The candidate students should have studied the courses such as Communication Principle, Mobile Communications, Computer Network and Queue Theory. The students must take part in at least 26 hours of teaching lectures and special topic seminars, as well as 12 hours of English reference reading and research reports writing. The final examination is to submit the research report on special topics for master graduate students and to give presentation and report for doctoral graduate students.

  1. Brief Introduction of Chief lecturer:


Wang Xiangyang was born in June 1971. He received M.S.E degree in 1996 from the Department of Radio Engineering, Southeast University, and the Ph.D degree in 2003 from the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, The University of HongKong. From 1996 to 2000, he was with National Mobile Communications Research Lab. being involved in the R&D of IS-95 and CDMA2000 mobile communication system. He taught the course of Mobile Communications to the undergraduate. Since 2003, he has been with R&D of B3G/4G cellular wireless system in NCRL. His personal research interests include spread spectrum communication, 3G cellular mobile communication systems, MIMO+OFDM techniques and WLAN, etc.


Zhang Yuan, born in 1977, received the Ph.D. degree in 2004 from the Department of Radio Engineering, Southeast University, and joined the National Mobile Communications Research Lab (NCRL) in 2005. He has been involved in the R&D and standardization activity of B3G/4G cellular wireless system hosted by NCRL. His personal research interests include wireless networking design, analysis and implementation.
