Leading the Way with Information Technology, Embracing a Global Vision! The Winter Exchange Program at RWTH Aachen University Organized by the School of Information Science and Engineering, Southeast University Has Been Successfully Completed! Released by: School of Information Science and Engineering, Southeast University Release Time: 12:00, February 24, 2026From January 26 to February 7, 2026, under the guidance of two instructors, Fu Wenqi and Shi Zhan, a group of 25 students from the School of Information Science and Engineering, Southeast University took part in the Winter School hosted by RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Spanning two weeks, the program offered two courses, namely Robotics and Communication Networks. Apart from expert lectures, laboratory visits, city tours and a dinner night, it also featured a rich array of cultural activities.Carrying Yi Embroidery, a national intangible cultural heritage of China, the students visited neighboring countries including Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands. While experiencing foreign cultures, they showcased Yi Embroidery craftsmanship and shared authentic Chinese stories. The students accomplished this practical program with full enthusiasm, putting into practice the profound vision proposed by President Xi Jinping that "diverse civilizations are the essence of the world". Through this overseas study tour, students from the School of Information gained immersive exposure to international education and seized a precious opportunity to broaden their horizons and enhance their global competence. Leveraging strengths in information technology, they integrated digital tools with intangible cultural heritage and promoted Yi Embroidery across multiple locations in Germany.
