Personal introduction

Nan Liu, professor of the National Mobile Communications Research Laboratory and PhD advisor She was the recipient of the Outstanding Young Teacher Award in the Qing Lan Project in 2014. She obtained her B. Eng. degree from the department of electrical engineering at the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2001 and her Ph.D. degree from the department of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2007. From 2007–2008, she was a postdoctoral scholar in the Wireless Systems Lab at Stanford University. She joined the school of information science and engineering at Southeast University as a professor in 2009.

 

She served as the principal investigator on multiple National Science Foundation of China projects and one sub-project of the National Key Research and Development Project. She has published many papers in international journals and conferences, with over 20 papers in IEEE Transactions journals. She is the patent holder for over 10 national patents.

 

She is the associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Communications and China Communications, and serves as the symposium co-chair for the mobile and wireless track of PIMRC 2014, the symposium of communication theory of WCSP 2009 and 2012, the symposium of information theory and coding of WCSP 2016 and 2021, the symposium of privacy and security in communications of ICCC 2022, and the TPC member for the International Symposium of Information Theory (ISIT) 2019–2021. She was the recipient of the Leike fellowship in 2014 and the fellowship of the class of 77,78 alumni of the Radio Department of Nanjing Institute of Technology in 2021.
