Zhangjie Luo received his B.S. degree in electronic and information engineering and Ph.D. in radio physics from Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, in 2008 and 2015, respectively. From 2012 to 2014, he was with the Applied Electromagnetics Group, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, USA, as a visiting Ph.D. student.

From 2015 to 2018, Dr. Luo worked with the China Academy of Engineering Physics. From 2018 to 2020, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the State Key Laboratory of Millimeter Waves, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. Since 2020, he has continued his academic career at Southeast University as an associate researcher. He was an awardee of the Young Scientist Award in PIERS 2018 Toyama and one of the finalists for the Best Paper Award in ISAP 2018 Busan and in APMC 2016 New Delhi. He was awarded a Zhishan Young Scholar in 2020 and a Zijin Scholar in 2021 by Southeast University. Currently, he has three issued patents and more than 15 papers published in top journals, including Advanced Functional Materials, Nature Electronics, Advanced Optical Materials, IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, etc.
