Responsible for outbound technical marketing of Cisco Small Business solutions, ranging from system level solution definition, verification, to customer demos.

Responsibilities include:

1.Pre-sales support of small business solutions on customer sites, road shows, events, EBCs, etc.
2.Proactive support on the field alias with the ability to multi-task current projects with alias responsiveness. Provide deeper recommendations and handle the load that comes with increased visibility.
3.Articulate product's strengths vs. the competition in sales situations. Relied on to assist in competitive situations.
4.Represent technical and product marketing in engineering meetings and influence product decisions.
5.Demonstrate ownership of complex projects and the ability to work across different functional groups.
6.Understanding of Network Management, Routing/Switching, Voice.

This individual will play a business analysis role in CRDC Operations who has the primary responsibility to elicit, verify, analyze and validate the business needs and requirement that serve the company’s need to focus on strategic planning and optimizations. Using a set of analytical techniques, this individual will understand the structure, policies, and operations of CRDC and provide concrete data that will support the recommended solutions and advised effects of business decisions that will enable CRDC to achieve its development and growth goals.

Responsibilities

1.To participate in company strategic planning process to enable long-term growth and innovation

• Develop advanced strategies for gathering, documenting and reviewing requirements. Ensure that all of the key questions have been asked, and their responses documented.
• Make sure that the right decision makers are involved in the process and have an opportunity to provide input.
• Understand the solution options that are available, and participate in requirements prioritization to help site management prioritize those options based on their merits, and eventually select the best option.
• Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards.

2.Assist in data collection and analysis and benchmarking to support strategic planning and execution exercises.

• To engage and lead requirements elicitation workshops
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
• Represent requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, or scenarios, where appropriate.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

3.Collaborate with cross-functional and business functional stakeholders in defining and assessing company next-level success matrix

• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements

4.Grow into business and operations’ centre of excellence

Qualifications and Skills Requirements

1.Qualified candidates will be a MBA with engineering background a big plus
2.Ability to digest and synthesize information from multiple sources. 
3.Demonstrated good potentials in project management.
4.Excellent written and verbal communications skills (both Chinese and English)
5.Strong analytical skills.
6.Team player with ability to collaborate with cross functional work groups and make influences.

Job Description

The following are responsibilities associated with this test engineering position:

• Understanding general switching product hardware architecture and its functionality
• Review HW design specification, create test plans and generate test tools under standard HW test processes and procedures
• Set up HW test environment with UUT and/or instruments/cable plants/etc.
• Execute manual/automated test suites according to test plan and as per guidance from Cisco tech leads.
• Handle various test equipments like environmental chambers, AC or DC power supplies, traffic generator and a wide range of networking equipment necessary to execute HW test suites
• Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
• Uses acquired professional knowledge to make decisions. Exercises judgment within defined standards and consults with Cisco tech leads.

Education

Typically requires MSEE/CS/Automation Control or 2 years with BSEE/CS/Automation Control

Skills Required

The following requirements are critical:

• General knowledge of Ethernet Switching product and HW architecture
• Experience with test equipments such as AC or DC Power supplier, IP Traffic Generator, oscilloscope, signal analyzer.
• high speed signal measurement techniques such as Eye-Diagram, return loss, jitter.
• Experience with the use of equipment UNIX environment and script programming using Tcl/Tk and shell language
• Excellent written and verbal communications, team work mindset
• Familiarity with Cisco products and Cisco IOS is preferred
• HW testing Experience of troubleshooting network is highly desirable

Job Description

• Board-Mounted Power (BMP) design, from low-power appliances to 1kW boards for Data Center switches.
• AC/DC power supply development based on system-level requirements.
• Works closely with vendors on design and testing of power supplies.
• Works with the project design engineer to determine and document power requirements.
• Determines BMP approach, specifies power modules, discrete DC/DC converters, hot-swap, sequencing, and margining circuitry.
• Analytically determines bypass capacitors to meet target impedance from DC to GHz.
• Performs PSPICE simulation on circuits.
• Leverages components, methodologies, and templates already in place. Performs DC and AC Power Integrity simulations.
• Performs BMP testing to verify compliance to requirements.
• Drives resolution of issues.
• Debugs complex power system issues.
• Works closely with DE (Design Engineer) , NPIE (New Product Introduction Engineer), CAD engineers, and SI (Signal Integrity) engineers.
