【更新】2013年日本早稻田大学联合学术研讨会选拔通知

        从2011年起，学院每年选拔3名本科生参加当年11月在日本早稻田大学举办的为期一周的学术研讨会，取得了良好的效果，今年，学年拟继续资助3名优秀本科生赴日参加2013年学术研讨会，时间为2013年11月10日-11月14日，地点为日本早稻田大学IPS研究院。

【选拔对象】信息科学与工程学院积极参与科研创新活动的在籍本科生

【选拔条件】能积极参加Poster交流活动，有较好的英语听说读写基础，能参与大会学术交流。此前积极参加大学生学术科技创新活动，并取得一定成果。

【费用说明】由学院资助主要参会费用，含往返机票、住宿、会议注册费用等，约6000元人民币/人。

【申请材料】请阅读附件，提供以下电子和纸质材料：

｛纸质材料｝
1、《2013日本早稻田大学联合学术研讨会申请表》打印签字件一份；
2、未公开发表的英文学术论文一篇（打印件），论文应基于申请人所参与的竞赛、各级SRTP项目等课外研学工作，且申请人为第一作者；
3、由学院教务员开具的本科阶段成绩单原件一份（暂不提交，开学后学办统一办理）；
4、英语水平证明复印件一套（含CET、IELTS、TOFEL、GRE、高/中口证书等）；
5、学术科研成果复印件一套（竞赛获奖证书、专利证明、论文发表证明、课题结题证明等）。

All the students are to participate in a poster session.

Expenses:       In principal, the following will be covered or provided by IPS.

                        -   Round-trip air tickets (including airport tax, fuel surcharge, etc) between the nearest airport to each university and Fukuoka Airport;

                        -   Accommodation in Japan during the symposium (room rate only);

                        -   Two (2) meals per day (breakfast and lunch) in Japan during the symposium;

                        -   Transport necessary for the programmes of the symposium (eg. transport between the accommodation and IPS, etc).

Visa:               Although IPS will prepare an invitation letter, etc for each participant, it is totally the participant's responsibility to obtain an appropriate visa to enter Japan at the respective Japanese consular office prior to the symposium.
