These students will receive 18,000 Euros per annum (tax free) scholarships plus all tuition fees are fully paid by research grants. The posts are expected to start on 1st September 2015.
The research areas cover a wide range of topics, including:
• Reconfigurable RF transceivers for 5G wireless communications
• Advanced RF power amplifier design
• Behavioural modelling and digital linearisation techniques
• High frequency nonlinear device modelling/characterisation
• Digitally-assisted analog and mixed signal circuit design
• Ultra-low power SoCs for Internet of Things applications
• Signal processing and channel modelling of Massive MIMO
We take both Masters and PhDs:
(1) Research Masters: lasts 18 months, they can start straight after the BE degree or current 1st-year Masters in China;
(2) PhD: normally take 4 years, we generally take students with a Masters degree in China. Or some good BE students can start with Research Masters and then transfer to PhD after 12 months.
