CUHK Engineering HK PhD Fellowship Summer Workshop

Most expenses of the workshop are covered by CUHK. Lucky ones might get PhD offers this summer, one year before their actual graduations. The interested students can directly apply on the website (deadline April 26, 2015), and can email phd@erg.cuhk.edu.hk for enquiries about the Workshop.
If there are students who are potentially interested in the research area of Network Communications and Economics, they can contact me after they are selected to attend the workshop (notification early May).

IEEE Communications Society Distinguished Lecturer
The Faculty of Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is organizing a HK PhD Fellowship Summer Workshop for applicants who are seeking admission to our PhD programmes, especially those who are going to apply through the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS).
The Workshop will be on July 6 - 10, 2015 on CUHK campus, offering students a unique opportunity to learn more about the research opportunities at CUHK Engineering, visit our research labs and facilities, interact with our professors and postgraduate students, and sit for an admission interview.
We cordially invite outstanding students worldwide to attend the Workshop. The followings will be provided to all Workshop participants:
1. Admission interview on the last day of the Workshop.
2. The first batch of PhD offers will be provided shortly after the Workshop. The monthly stipend of PhD students with HK PhD Fellowship is HK$20,000.
3. On campus accommodation for 6 nights (July 5 – 10)
4. Lunch for 5 days (July 6-10) and a welcoming banquet
5. Travel subsidy of HK$1,000 upon completion of the Workshop
