本课程介绍用于信号处理的电子系统中最重要的模拟电路模块。基于这些模块的工作原理,使得学生理解并掌握通信、多媒体、生物医学应用、计算等系统和信号处理等工作原理。

Chapter 1.  Applications of analog interface circuits in electronic products:
Applications of analog circuits in telecommunications, control, computing, biomedical applications, etc.


Chapter 2. Fundamental performance limits in analog circuits:
Noise - distortion - dynamic range - signal-to-noise ratio; fundamental relationships between power, speed and accuracy


Chapter 3. Feedback and feedback circuits:
Feedback configurations and stability; effect of feedback on noise and distortion; applications: instrumentation amplifiers, opamp compensation


Chapter 4. Power amplifiers:
Operating principles of class A, B, AB and C amplifiers


Chapter 5. Analog filters:
Filter types: LP, HP, BP and BR; continuous time and discrete time filters; translating filter specifications in transfer functions: Butterworth, Chebyshev, Cauer, Bessel; filter synthis (b.m.o. software programme); filter structures and their properties: passive & active, continous time and discrete time


Chapter 6. DC-DC conversion:
Principles of linear regulators and switched-mode converters, both capacitive and inductive


Chapter 7. Analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters:
Principles and properties (resolution, linearity, ENOB); sampling and quantisation; architectures: Nyquist-rate digital-to-analog converters; Nyquist-rate analog-to-digital converters; oversampling (Delta-Sigma) converters; building blocks: S&H/T&H


Chapter 8. Phase-locked loop and oscillators:
Principles and properties (acquisition/lock, phase noise); basic architecture and building blocks; applications: up/downconversion, data recovery, frequency synthesis; basic principles oscillators.

四、主讲教师简介:

Gielen Georges:博士、鲁汶大学教授,IEEE高级会员. 2007年至2012年,担任ESAT-MICAS研究小组的负责人。 2013年至2017年担任鲁汶大学副校长。也是Leuven CHIPS微电子IC设计卓越中心的PI协调员。研究方向是模拟和混合信号集成电路(传感器接口,数据转换器等)设计,特别是模拟和混合信号CAD工具和设计自动化(建模,仿真和符号分析,模拟合成,模拟布局),模拟和混合信号测试等。曾担任2006DATE会议,2007ICCAD会议和2017ESSCIRC会议的主席,并在John Wiley国际电路理论与应用杂志上获得1995年度最佳论文奖,也是比利时皇家科学院、工程学和艺术学院的1997年获奖者。他还获得了比利时2000年阿尔卡特奖。在国家科学研究基金会进行电信创新研究,并获得2004DATE会议最佳论文奖。2005年担任IEEE电路与系统(CAS)协会主席,2007年当选为DATE Fellow,并获得IEEE计算机学会杰出贡献奖和IEEE电路与系统学会优秀服务奖。


吴旭:博士、IEEE会员 。2001年被选派赴比利时鲁汶大学留学,20042005年分别获学士和硕士学位。2005年进入比利时鲁汶大学电子系攻读博士学位。预博期间师从集成电路设计专业泰斗Willy Sansen教授,博士期间师从国际固态电路领域5060年十大杰出贡献者,M. Steyaert教授。在集成电路、传感器领域著名国际期刊及会议上发表多篇论文,包含IEEE 固态电路期刊(IEEE JSSC)、亚洲固态电路会议、ELECTRONIC LETTERS 等。2011-2017年间,在全球知名图像传感器设计公司CMOSIS 担任项目负责人。个人独立设计完成多个芯片设计项目,其中包括牙医用3D成像高速传感器芯片,速度达到每秒千帧。作为项目技术主管,成功带领团队设计并研发出多款自定制高速CMOS图像传感器。参与设计完成了莱卡相机的多款核心芯片,包括莱卡的大面阵图像传感器芯片等。

This course describes the most important analog building blocks as used in electronic systems for signal processing. Based on the operating principle of these blocks, the goal is to understand the most relevant properties for systems and signal processing applications in telecommunications, multimedia, biomedical applications, computing, etc.
