摘要:In this seminar, I will introduce our recent research on applying advanced networking and computing technologies to improving the data sharing and task processing performance for post-disaster network recovery scenarios and autonomous driving applications. First, I will present our developed mobility-adaptive digital twin (MADT) framework for network traffic prediction in a post-disaster urban scenario where some affected terrestrial base stations (BSs) are malfunctional causing unavailable user traffic data under their coverages. The advantages of using DT for post-disaster data restoration and network recovery will be highlighted. Then, I will present our developed joint network slicing and computing task offloading framework for an autonomous driving scenario to improve the network-wide computation load balancing, where a hierarchical optimization is conducted to jointly maximize the communication and computing resource utilization. My current research program will also be introduced at the end of the presentation.
